Aden’s role is to be forward-thinking in the company development department, and working with both new and existing clients to ensure we’re continually meeting their needs as they develop too! Outside of work, Aden’s interests include technology, business, cars, and football and you might also find him on the squash court in an attempt to keep fit.
Ryan keeps everything running smoothly overseeing the daily operations of the business alongside welcoming new clients and ensuring service levels are kept to a high standard. When not thinking or reading about business Ryan likes to keep fit and active and is a keen gym-goer.
With that in mind, we created this list as a team, and we regularly refer to them in company development meetings to make sure we're aligned with them in everything we do.
We've developed our own approach to support over the last 14 years
Don't put up with getting passed from pillar to post. We assign each of our Silver, Gold and Platinum clients their own 2nd Line Engineer who gets to know them and their set-up, solving issues faster.
When IT goes wrong, unexpected costs are the last thing you need. That's why our support packages are on an unlimited basis for a set monthly fee. Easy to budget, no costly surprises.
We pride ourselves on our customer service. It can be really frustrating when trying to speak to someone to help fix an issue, so our engineers are contactable directly on our priority support phone number.
"We found that Prodigy really understood our needs, and were able to come up with the most cost-effective and best ongoing solution."
A network of over 19, low-performing Windows PCs were slowing down day-to-day operations.
We visited Schofields and had a chat, getting to know their business and what they needed from their IT systems day-to-day. We quickly established that the slow machines were coming to the end of their lives and needed replacing as a priority.
As well as needing fast, reliable and secure machines to work on and a network which had minimal downtime, after talking to them about pain points and IT needs, we realised Schofields also needed a more robust backup solution for their main server. At this point, one of their main concerns was the cost of replacing 19 PCs all at once.
We installed 19 new Business Level PCs on a cost-effective monthly plan basis. We also set up a disaster recovery solution to back up the entire server including Operating System, programs, files and documents. This meant that in the event of an emergency, their server could be restored in a matter of hours rather than a matter of days! They also joined us on an ongoing support agreement, and we continue to look after their IT systems on a daily basis.
“We approached not only Prodigy with our requirements, but other IT companies for proposals. We found that Prodigy really understood our needs and were able to come up with the most cost effective and best ongoing support the business needed. We were sceptical on how much disruption such a big change over would have, however during the two days of implementation the work was very well planned out and executed.
The whole job was carried out with minimal fuss and disruption. Not only are we now working in a more productive and secure environment, we are covered with ongoing support. Previous to working with Prodigy, our IT support was very slow and non-reactive, with the support package we receive a fantastic response time – all for a fixed fee – meaning we don’t receive unexpected invoices!”

Aden's Background
Aden's had an interest in IT and technology for as long as he can remember with his first computer being a BBC when he was four years old. He can pinpoint his passion for business to his early schooldays though, when as an enterprising 8 year-old he bought and sold sweets in the playground leading to computer games and CDs.
He completed his A Levels including Computer Science, but put his university placement on hold for 12 months whilst completing an IT apprenticeship. Eventually he combined his passions for IT and business in 2003 by starting Prodigy.
What does he do day-to-day?
A self-confessed workaholic and perfectionist, it's Aden's job to keep driving business forward, finding new and innovative ways to make sure Prodigy are providing customers the very best service. He oversees the teams, making sure we're always meeting or exceeding client expectations in all areas.
Home life
Aden is married to Lauren, and they have two children. When he isn't working, he enjoys cars, playing squash, watching football (a keen Chelsea fan), and holidays!
Ryan's Background
Ryan has always had a keen interest in business. He studied A levels in both business and economics, knowing that one day he wanted to have his own company.
At the age of 21, he started his own recruitment company. He met Aden through that endeavour, with Prodigy providing IT support for his business initially, which is where his involvement with Prodigy began.
Ryan's role
Ryan's role is to ensure that the day-to-day operations of the company are running smoothly, from service delivery, to technical support and the onboarding of new clients. He also directly oversees and manages the team dealing with HR and people development.
Home life
In his down time, Ryan loves to spend time with his daughter as well as socialising (earning the reputation of office chatty man!) If he's not working or spending time with family, then you will most likely find him in the gym.
