This is a brilliant opportunity for a field-based support engineer to exercise a range of skills in a varied role where no two days are the same. The role will predominantly involve onsite technical support, installations, and project work, however will also include remote and in-house builds and repairs, and and also proactive technical audits - so a keen eye for detail is essential!Core hours: Mon-Fri, 8:45am to 5:30pm
You will be joining an award-winning (Best Place to Work) MSP, with a very forward-thinking approach. We are a small but ambitious growing company and will involve mostly supporting business customers, but will include some home support to a handful of customers.
We have a well-structured team with points of escalation and a great working atmosphere. External and in-house training will be offered, including MS certification and other professional development.
For the right person, the natural progression of this role would be to move into a 3rd line role which would involve more project-based and complex installs. The role will report to the Service Delivery Manager, who on a day-to-day basis will provide great support and guidance.
You will be joining an existing team of two onsite engineers, serving clients who are typically within a 1.5 hour radius of Blandford Forum, Dorset.
The ideal candidate will be a natural problem solver, and have high attention to detail with excellent customer service skills. They will have great time management, and will be able to prioritise - working well under pressure. The ability to multi-task and deliver on time, are also essential.
